Summary

Norse Atlantic is expanding its services to Thailand with new routes to Bangkok and Phuket starting this winter.

Norse Atlantic will launch three routes to Thailand this winter.

From November 26, Norse Atlantic wil launch the first ever direct route between Manchester, United Kingdom and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Operated once-weekly, the new service will serve the estimated 100,000 passengers that travel each year between the two cities indirectly.

In a statement, Norse Atlantic stated the entrance of the airline into the Manchester-Bangkok market offers a game-changing alternative to indirect, time-consuming connections, and supports both inbound tourism to the UK and business or leisure travel to Thailand.

The new Manchester-Bangkok route will be the second route from Manchester Airport to a city in Southeast Asia. Singapore Airlines currently operates flights from Manchester to Singapore.

Two New Routes to Phuket

Separately, Norse Atlantic will launch new direct flights from Oslo and Stockholm to Phuket this December.

From December 4, Norse Atlantic will operate one weekly flight between Stockholm and Phuket. The new Oslo-Phuket service – also once-weekly – will start on December 8.
